Phish: Riviera Maya
We are pleased to present the second installment of Phish: Riviera Maya, a 4- or 5-night all-inclusive concert vacation featuring 3 nights of Phish in one of the most beautiful parts of the world. The stage sits just feet away from the Caribbean Sea, providing an incredible beach backdrop for the shows.
The concerts will take place at the Barceló Maya Beach, an all-inclusive resort sitting on a mile-long stretch of white sandy beach, featuring breathtaking landscapes and pools scattered throughout the property. You may reserve a room at the Barceló, or choose to stay at one of our other carefully selected hotels. Each resort features a variety of restaurants, multiple bars and daily activities all included in your package price. Spend your days lounging by the pool and beach, or explore the nearby towns of Tulum or Playa del Carmen. Partake in exciting off-site adventures, or sleep off the night before and soak up some sun.
Each night, guests staying at the Barceló Maya will walk out of their rooms and take a short stroll to the beach to see Phish. If you are staying at one of our other properties, a shuttle will deliver you within feet of the main stage.
The Riviera Maya is a famous section of coastline along Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, stretching from Puerto Morelos in the North to Sian Ka’an biosphere reserve in the south. Lined by the crystal blue waters of the Caribbean Sea, the Riviera Maya is built upon diverse landscapes and is rich in history and culture. From jungles to coastal beaches, the Riviera Maya is home to countless marvels such as magnificent barrier reefs and ancient Mayan ruins. There is also like TONS of sand.
Playa del Carmen, known by the locals simply as “Playa,” and known by intimates as “Jimmy Two-Times,” is one of the Yucatan Peninsula’s most stunning beach towns. Once an old fishing village, this trendy epicenter of culture, food and boutiques meets the beautiful Caribbean Sea along a strip of white sandy beach. Playa Del Carmen’s most famous tourist destination is Quinta Avenida (5th Avenue), a pedestrian friendly street stretching forty blocks long and home to countless stores and restaurants. Seriously, try to count them. The shores of Playa are lined with beautiful beach clubs and local beach rentals, where you can pick up umbrellas and chairs for a relaxing afternoon of sunbathing, umbrella-chair juggling, or swimming in the clear, blue water.
The coastal city of Tulum, built in the 13th century, was once a thriving Mayan trading center. Tulum was one of the last cities that remained inhabited by the Mayans, surviving 70 years after the Spanish occupation, and is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the Yucatan. Nowadays, Tulum is famous for its sugar-white sandy beaches, aqua clear waters and great restaurants and bars offering authentic local cuisines. Each year visitors flock to Tulum to explore the Mayan ruins and spend an afternoon wandering along its gorgeous beaches. Tulum is a can’t-miss destination during your trip to the Riviera Maya.
